Interim Assessments Interim assessments are optional online assessments to check student progress and help teachers plan and improve instruction. Educators can view interim reports in the Online Reporting System ORS and access the interim items in AVA Digital Library Resources to help educators implement formative assessment practices to support teaching and learning.

Results provide schools and families with an indication of how well their children are progressing toward mastering the knowledge and skills necessary for college and career readiness.
